We resolved to continue our journey for we could think of no better backdrop for our grim destination. Our first stop, a cemetery where we would view the final resting place of the master of cosmic horror and dread, Howard Phillips Lovecraft…

Come on, we all love puns. Write? Okay, apologies for that one… Transitioning back into nomad mode hasn’t been as rough as I worried it might be. I’ll be the first to admit I was uncertain. COVID really altered the… Read More ›
Long Silence but Never Quiet
Long silence here but never truly quiet. Always the keys go clack clack clack. A common writer’s mantra – best thing you can be doing is writing the next book. The next story. The next script. The next poem. Whatever… Read More ›
Nomad No More? Writing Update and Other News
First off: The current word count for the first book of my Thriller series is at 82,366.
I’d planned for 80k and after a solid editing pass, it might get cut down to that. But right now, the hero is locked in the back of a squad car in the middle of a raging gun battle and has to figure out how to escape before he can take down the militia sent to round him up…

These commands tell a story, her father had told her as he traced the filament’s path along the printer’s hidden inner workings and to the jet. She’d been mesmerized by how the owl materialized with each looping pass. From this thread, we borrow just enough of creation’s endless weave to tell our tale. This is the way of the Sutradhars. It will be yours, too.
More Bumps in the Road
My once established daily schedule just hit a few potholes. We’re fast approaching our departure from the ridiculously beautiful Oregon coast. Next week, I’ll need to be at the helm again setting off for parts unknown. Due to launch preparations… Read More ›
