So this week I planned to write more about the business side of creative work, however it’s going to have to wait until next week.
Tomorrow is DFWCon, a pretty big writing con here in the Dallas area. I’ve got a reserved sit down with Lou Anders of Pyre to ask questions and Ill be surrounded by agents all weekend.
Because of this, I’ve been attacking my manuscript with incredible fury. Of the 96k words, I’ve paired down about 10k and gotten about 15k away from completing the second draft. Today was spent polishing, throwing together a pitch, printing business cards and other con prep.
Ill be back on the blog track next week, but for now, wish me luck!
