I gave a kick, you gave a slap
You smashed a plate over my head
Then I set fire to our bed

I’m not in a smack down with the devil (my prose ain’t up to that yet), but rolling around with the Muse can be blissfully painful.
Got over a 30k word hump – aiming for 35k before the week is over.
