Book two in the Ace Grant, Demon Slayer series is now available for eBook pre-order. (Paperbacks are in the pipeline but will need proofing, etc. first.)
Early ARC reader reports are very promising, which is a HUGE relief.
At the beginning of the year, I challenged myself to release five books. I’m only at four in 2019 (more on that later…) but it required a difficult shift in both my writing style and process.
Ace’s books are shorter, more tightly woven but this doesn’t mean less substance. Book two finds Ace being sent off to prison where his investigations into the hidden magical community are blown wide open.
Hammering it all out in a matter of a few months had me nervous.
I still need to refine my process a bit more to release five books though. Two months left in 2019, you never know what could happen, but it would be a stretch.
Above all, I don’t want to sacrifice quality for speed. And this is where my very thorough ARC Readers come in. They’ll be mentioned in the acknowledgments for the book because I couldn’t have pulled this off without them.
